National and Global Forums
Our co-founder Meenakshi Gupta was invited to speak at "Shakti: The Role of Women in Social Reform" on March 8th in Patna, organised by Medanta Hospital in association with Advantage Support on the occasion of International Women’s Day 2024. The session addressed the discourse on gender equality and female leadership.
Our founder, Anshu Gupta, was invited as a speaker in the National Conference on Gender and Inclusion: Women in the Workforce on March 14, 2024, at the Presidency University, Bangalore organised by the Centre for Development Policy and Practice. The conference intended to foster discussions on key factors impacting women’s workplace participation in India.
Our Founders were recently invited to speak at one of the world's premier Ivy league Colleges Yale University about Goonj's work and idea of turning urban surplus material of the world for rural development. Goonj and Yale have partnered in the past with Yale Global Social Entrepreneurship students visiting and studying Goonj's work.
